- Then zooming in on the map on their website and clicking a location to add a tree
- Adding more information about that tree, eg species, size, disease

The information you input can be used to serve a wide variety of scientific objectives including the study of new and emerging tree diseases, evolution of the ecosystem services provided by a tree, and effects of climate change on tree growth.
